Monika

Hi, I am Monika. I was born and brought up in India. I studied English Literature at University and continued my quest by earning a Masters Degree in it.  During my graduation, I developed passion for Fashion and pursued it to obtain a diploma in Fashion Designing with exceptional grades and worked in the industry for about 5 years to realise it wasn’t for me. My love for English language and for kids encouraged me further my education and I completed Bachelor’s degree in Education and worked as an English Teacher in International schools in India.

I have been living in Munich since 2009 and have captured pedagogical experience also in other institutions like Gymboree and BIS, before I joined Aardvark. I have worked with children of different ages, nationalities and backgrounds only to infer that kids at Aardvark are extremely special. They are much more confident, independent and yet the most humble.
Needless to say the parents and staff at Aardvark have created an environment to nurture such sensitivity and sensibility in our lovely group of kids. I feel extremely lucky to be a part of this amazing team and to be able to extend my skills to help the kids in learning English as their second language. We at Aardvark believe, continuous exposure to a new language makes learning process more natural. Not only does it allow growth but also helps kids in sharpening their mind. I am delighted to see how mouldable a child’s brain is that my daughter at 4 understands 4 different languages and how it has increased her curiosity to learn more. And similarly, I would love to facilitate an
enriching learning experience in all our enthusiasts of Aardvark and nurture their love for a new language too.
